Position Overview
Are you an experienced horse person who’s curious, and ready to make a real difference? Join our team and you'll find a role that’s as fun as it is impactful! You’ll be caring for our beloved off-the-track Thoroughbreds(and other breeds), supporting job training and recreational programs, and creating joyful, silly, or peaceful experiences for our participants. You'll work closely with our Program Manager, Barn Manager, and other instructors to ensure our dynamic program runs smoothly, from daily horse care to playful activities with our neurodivergent community.
Key Responsibilities
Equine Management
Provide daily care for our horses, including feeding, grooming, and stall & pasture maintenance
Bring your horsemanship and riding skills, and be ready to learn and apply classical dressage, liberty, and positive reinforcement techniques
Keep the environment safe and spirited, treating both humans and animals with compassion and respect
Program & Team Support
Assist in delivering job training and recreational programs for neurodivergent adults and autism families, fostering a supportive, engaging, easeful, and playful environment
Participate in creative activities involving both humans and horses, ensuring program quality and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with team members, providing regular feedback and support to maintain a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture
