Overview: Located in a beautiful, rural setting in Orinda, Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center provides therapeutic horseback riding, therapeutic services and related activities to children with physical disabilities, and to Veterans from all theaters. Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)3 and a Premier Accredited Center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International.
Founded in 1993, Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center has grown from a one horse, two client operation to a robust herd serving dozens of clients and providing hundreds of volunteers an opportunity to connect and to give back.
In a safe and secure environment, we offer life-changing experiences for children with a wide range of disabilities—from autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and developmental delays to cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Noonan Syndrome and many others.
