Blue Dreamin' Farms is located in Ahwahnee CA nestled in the mountains at the lower entrance to Yosemite. We offer a select number of full boarding and training equine services. Blue Dreamin' Farms is your premier place to board in this wonderful mountain area. We offer individual small pasture boarding as well as have limited stall boarding. Our owner and trainer Megan Barnes has a degree in Equine Science and over 25 years in the equine industry training, breeding, giving lessons, selling, starting colts and caring for horses at the highest level in both English and Western rein/cow horses. She is very knowledgeable and pays attention to detail to make sure you and your horse are well cared for and feel a part of our barn family! Megan can help with training in just about every discipline. She specializes in starting colts as well as rein/cow horse and eventing and dressage. A well-rounded trainer makes a well-schooled horse! She is very passionate about horses and helping people learn how to train, not just how to ride. Blue Dreamin' Farms is a no drama place to board where we offer beautiful facilities that include: a 120' x 210' main Priefert fenced arena complete with sprinklers to knock the summer dust down, full set of jumps to use complete with all fillers, a lovely short court dressage arena with sprinklers and letters for practicing tests, a 60' round pen, a CowTrac mechanical cow for cutting training, seasonal cattle to practice with, trails around the 40 acre farm, small orchard, wash area, tack rooms, sitting areas, and soon to be a 60' x 100' COVERED ARENA to be completed by the end of 2025! We have a very relaxed atmosphere, and a family feel around the farm where we also raise Nigerian dwarf goats.
