Looking for a started and proven project?

For your consideration, Finn aka Hack is regretfully being put up for sale. He is an 8 y/o bay OTTB with a heart shaped star and 2 back white socks. He’s a war horse who raced for 5 years with 18 starts and the full clean X-rays to prove it. Vets are shocked when they saw how clean he is.

I really love this guy. He’s sweet, easy going, puppy dog personality who comes over and asks for love. When given a new ask or challenge he is level headed and figures it out quick. He’s got gorgeous gaits and has a ton of potential. He had a year let down off the track, ground manners boot camp, and started w/t/c and poles and cross rail courses. He loads beautifully- I can trailer him by myself, load and unload him all one person. Stands for farrier and vet quietly. He is even great for worming. Can ride on the trail or in the arena, trail rides alone or in groups. Has ridden on the road with extensive scary, large, multiple road vehicles at one time and had no problem. Farm animals and donkeys don’t phase him (he lives with 2 donkeys) and he loves dogs. This guy could go in any direction in terms of discipline, he is very willing and eager to learn

I’m very motivated to sell but a good home is a must for this guy. Looking for someone who wants to continue a project that has awesome potential. I’m selling first and foremost for his health- my property has a ton of oak trees and I can’t keep him away from the acorns and he’s sensitive to them. So he’s been separated from his friends and not in the pasture, locked up in my round pen- hence the fast sale needed. The other reason why is I had a baby, and I’ve come to terms that the horse I need now is not a project horse. He was perfect before, but we don’t fit now. I want to find him a good fit.
