Bay Area Barns and Trails - BABAT's mission is to protect the natural environment of public equestrian lands and to support landowners and equestrians seeking means and ways to permanently protect San Francisco Bay Area equestrian properties from development.
Coastside Horse Council - Non-profilt corporation working to bring the equine industry together to protect and preserve San Mateo County's rich Western heritage. Among their goals are the protection and promotion of responsible equestrian lifestyles, and the maintenance of the horse as an integral part of the Coastside landscape and community.
EnviroHorse - Repository/clearing house for scientifically sound data and information about the horse and its place in the environment. Dedicated to sponsoring research that will keep horses on trails and public lands, and dispel myths and fears about equines.
  Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation - Take a step back in time and visit Ridgewood Ranch - home of the legendary racehorse Seabiscuit. Seasonal walking tours are available June - September (Mon.-Wed.-Fri.) at 9:30am.
